    The Pringle outlet store faces an uncertain future

    It was established in Hawick more than 200 years ago and went on to become a world-renowned luxury knitwear firm.

    But the future of Pringle, which once employed 4,000 people in Hawick, and its connection to the town is now uncertain.

    The Hawick Paper understands members of staff at the company’s Hawick outlet store at 2 Victoria Road have been made redundant, with “not many” remaining.
