    A police youth engagement programme in Burnfoot has led to a “significant reduction” in antisocial behaviour on the estate, The Hawick Paper can reveal today.

    The scheme, entitled Boss It, ran from April to August. It aimed to “break down barriers” with local children – and subject to funding being secured, it could be rolled out again.
