    Vote means you can have say on where £40,000 goes

    The Hawick public is being asked to decide which of eight local community projects should be given a slice of funding from a £40,000 pot.

    Voting opened yesterday (Thursday) for the latest round of funding from Scottish Borders Council’s Localities Bid Fund – with 74 applications from projects across the region all meeting the criteria to be in with a chance of being awarded a share of £300,000.
