    Following a year of inactivity, Hawick’s own bareknuckle boxing champion Gareth ‘Gumpy’ Walker is set to return to the ring.

    Come March 30, former Hawick Greens rugby player Gareth will defend the British heavyweight championship title he won a year back in the Bowlers Exhibition Centre, Manchester.
