    Skeldon happy to play part in history

    The result was not what anybody wanted, but playing at Murrayfield in front of a record crowd on Saturday was a “moment in history” that Lana Skeldon “will never forget”.

    Before the weekend’s  84-7 defeat to world champions England in round two of the Women’s Six Nations, Scotland women’s record rugby home crowd was 7,774 when they sold out Hive Stadium for the visit of the same opponents two years ago.
