    The Central Building could be “repurposed”

    A unanimous decision to support plans for a new £56.6million high school has been described as “fantastic news for the town and the future of local youngsters”.

    The proposals received the full backing of Scottish Borders Council’s planning committee on Monday – a move welcomed by local ward councillor, Watson McAteer.
