    Eight jobs to go as another bank shuts

    The Hawick branch of Santander is set to close at the end of July with the loss of eight jobs.

    It is part of the Spanish banking giant’s UK-wide shake-up which will see 95 branches shutting, as more and more customers choose to do their banking online.
