    The approach to grass cutting is “simple and straighforward” among  townsfolk, said Community Councillor Stuart Mactaggart – they want Hawick to look “neat and tidy”.

    Mr Mactaggart was commenting at Monday night’s meeting following a presentation on Scottish Borders Council’s grass management pilot scheme.
