    ‘Disappointment’ for wind farm developer

    Teviot Wind Farm failed to gain the support of councillors on Monday – a move welcomed by campaigners who opposed it – and it will now go to a public enquiry.

    Scottish Borders Council’s planning and building standards committee voted against what would be the Borders’ largest wind farm on land east of Priesthaugh, by five votes to three.
