    The cousin of the late Jack McPherson is set to tackle the 13.1-mile Great North Run in September in memory of his much-missed relative.

    The first anniversary of Jack’s passing, aged just 23, is on Tuesday.

    The “inspirational” young man lost a nine-month battle against an aggressive brain tumour.
