    Health risk over High Street pigeon menace

    Scottish Borders Council has been asked to take action amid a growing pigeon problem in the town centre.

    Local businessman Andrew Bannerman, who owns VPZ at 2 High Street and Teviot Wines at 7 Tower Knowe, told us he has been forced to fork out hundreds of pounds in a bid to keep on top of the issue.
