    Doctorate award for ‘humble’ Jill

    Respected sports broadcaster Jill Douglas told us this week she was “honoured and humbled” to have received an honorary doctorate from Edinburgh Napier University.

    Jill, whose parents Henry and Aileen live at Howahill, got her first newspaper job with The Southern Reporter, after studying journalism at the college.
