    Path tribute for ‘amazing lady’

    Madge’s Path was officially opened at a ceremony on Wednesday morning.

    Provost Clair Ramage declared the memorial path open, forging a linking between the west end and Wilton Lodge Park, in the name of Madge Elliot MBE.

    In her remarks, Mrs Ramage said: “Madge was an amazing lady, famous for her railway campaigning, but she was so much more, a tennis coach and a local activist.
