    Members of the Common-Riding Committee and community volunteers were all praised for ensuring the smooth running of this year’s celebrations at the traditional greetin’ meetin’ on Wednesday night.

    Chairman Frank Scott opened proceedings by congratulating Cornet Ryan Nichol and the rest of the Big Eight.
