    Outdoor gym in wrong place, insists resident

    Almost five years of “disruption” at Dovecote Mews looks set to continue, it was heard at Monday night’s meeting of Hawick Community Council.

    Talking of a recently submitted planning application by Scottish Borders Council for a new active area and outdoor gym adjacent her home, Evelyn Sangster emphasised that the proposed site on land south of Laidlaw Terrace, along the path that links to the Wee Haugh, was the “wrong location”.
