    Warm tributes are paid after the death of longstanding railway campaigner and tennis stalwart who “gave so much time to the community”

    The family of Madge Elliot MBE are this week leading the tributes to the prominent community campaigner who passed away on Saturday. She was 95.

    Her passion for her family, for tennis, and to have the railway reinstated to the Scottish Borders was greatly admired by all who knew her.
