The cash-strapped Burnfoot Community Hub has this week been thrown a financial lifeline, but the facility’s cafe will remain closed.
At a meeting held in private on Wednesday, town councillors on the Common Good Fund Sub-Committee approved a £10,000 funding application from Burnfoot Community Futures (BCF) which runs the hub.
