    Several Teri families were among the 6,000 guests invited to attend the King’s garden party in the grounds of the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh on Wednesday.

    Sandy McLaren and his wife Sheila were fortunate enough to be the only Hawick attendees to speak to a member of the royal family.
