    Janet and Elliot this week reflected on 60 years of marriage. PICTURE: ILF IMAGING

    Janet and Elliot Broatch, who celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary yesterday (Thursday), first met in the Hawick Rugby Club tearoom.

    This was a time when Greens player Elliot was home on leave from National Service, and this first encounter was followed up by meeting again at one of the weekly dances in the Crown Hotel to the music of the Dixie Seven.
