The Hawick Paper is today launching a brand-new mobile application across all major smartphone platforms.
The app combines the best of newspaper design with digital interactivity, making the most of smartphone and tablet technology.
Since launching our digital membership on The Hawick Paper website in 2017, the demand for news on the move has increased tenfold and the launch of our mobile app is the next stage in our digital strategy.
For the first time ever, subscribers to the app will be the first to find out about major developing stories in the area with push notifications, directly to your mobile or tablet device.
Easy navigation allows users to see multiple topics in just a few taps including all the latest news and sport stories that matter to you.
The apps’ archive feature allows you to quickly find and read stories dating back to our launch edition in 2016.
You can also read the weekly newspaper in full, with our eHawickPaper. Our custom-built mobile viewer allows you to effortlessly read the latest edition in the highest of quality with the ability to zoom into different parts of the newspaper.
Subscribers can also submit stories directly within our app and let the team at The Hawick Paper know about what’s going on in the community.
