    Helen Ford put family first and was ‘Hawick ti the verra core’

    Helen Ford, seen here with husband Brian, loved the Common-Riding

    Hawick lost one of its bright eyed daughters last Friday with the passing of Helen Ford.

    The 79-year-old died peacefully at the Margaret Kerr Unit, Borders General Hospital, following a brave battle against Covid-19.
