    Travellers move on after SBC’s support

    This caravan was abandoned by the travellers

    Travellers who pitched last week at Lower Mansfield, behind the rugby club have already moved on after being supported by Scottish Borders Council.

    The local authority provided portable toilet facilities to the group and had additional responsibilities, as part of a new framework from the Scottish Government, because of Covid-19.
