    A young woman has this week spoken of her life with a “perfect” foster family, who offered her a “safe and secure environment” when she needed it most.

    Speaking to The Hawick Paper following the recent Foster Care Fortnight initiative, 21-year-old Taylor Smith told us it had been an “amazing experience” since moving to Hawick in April 2008 to live permanently with the Gordon-Woolley family in Heronhill Crescent.
