    European-style street cafés, restaurants and bars could be the ‘new normal’ in Hawick if hospitality firms can use outside space when they reopen.

    The Hawick Paper can reveal that Scottish Borders Council (SBC) is considering proposals to make pavement space available to support businesses that will need to expand their footprint in order to apply social distancing measures.
