    Confirmation that coronavirus has arrived in Newcastleton was delivered to every household in the village this week.

    In a bid to ensure everyone continues to obey lockdown rules, local resilience group volunteers posted leaflets through every letterbox to report that there are “a number” of local residents who have tested positive for the virus.
