New speed restrictions are expected to come into force on the A7 to the north of the Galalaw roundabout by the end of the month.
The proposal to cut the speed limit was initially approved by the Scottish Government last March. Motorists using the A7 from around 100 metres north of the Galalaw roundabout to approximately 320 metres south of the junction with Guthrie Drive will see the speed restricted to 40mph from the current 60mph.
