    Callants to lay wreaths for Gallipoli war dead

    In continuation of a ceremony which dates back to 1916, members of the Callants’ Club will meet next Friday, July 12, to lay wreaths in commemoration of the Hawick men who served in the 1st/4th (Borders) Battalion of the King’s Own Scottish Borderers and who lost their lives on the Gallipoli peninsular in July 1915.
