    Lana Stanger proundly holds the shield for best local athlete at the Hawick Games. She also raced to the 90m B final success on the day. PICTURE: JMT MEDIA

    Scott Tindle may have been king of the track by winning the main event on the card at Hawick Border Games – the 110 metre sprint.

    Hawick however had its very own princess of the track in teenager Lana Stanger.
