    Gareth ‘Gumpy’ Walker first made his sporting mark in the world of rugby.

    He played for Hawick Albion, Hawick PSA, Hawick Linden and the Greens.

    Gareth represented the South of Scotland at under-17/18 and 19  age groups, as well as Scotland at the same level.
