    It was a mixed bag of results for local amateur sides last weekend.

    Hawick Waverley and Hawick United both enjoyed victories, while Legion and Legion Rovers suffered defeats.

    Title-chasing Waverley picked up three points with  a 4-1 victory at Gala Hotspur.
