    Tributes have been paid to Billy Welsh who died at the weekend.

    Described as “kind and generous without a bad bone in his body”, Billy, 63, was a regular volunteer with several different organisations. In particular, he was heavily involved at Borders General Hospital, with the British Red Cross, and the Common-Riding Committee to name a few.
