    Sainsbury’s bottle banks have experienced overwhelming demand

    Moves are afoot to tackle a backlog of overflowing bottle banks in and around Hawick.

    Scottish Borders Council this week pledged to install an additional bottle bank in Guthrie Drive, while it is also targeting extra collections to cope with the aftermath of the festive season.
