Hawick Waverley were back on the trophy trail again at the weekend, retaining the Border Cup with a 3-1 win over Chirnside United.
The success at Kelso’s Woodside Park was, however, overshadowed by a bad injury to teenage midfielder Charlie Hope.
Play was suspended for 40 minutes as the 18-year-old was patched up and taken to hospital with a badly broken leg.
