    Security bill leads to Common-Riding loss

    For the first time in almost a decade, the Common-Riding has suffered a “disappointing” financial loss of almost £5,500.

    The 2018 downturn – compared to a £3,900 profit last year – is blamed on increased security costs, and an overall rise in general running expenses.

    Two-day attendance figures at the Moor also decreased.
