    Girls’ Brigade groups from around the town joined forces for a special event to mark the organisation’s 125th birthday.

    A total of 136 youngsters, comprising the three Hawick companies as well as a Galashiels contingent, attended last Saturday’s celebratory afternoon at Burnfoot Community Hub.
