    Councillor’s shock over ‘neglect’ at allotments

    Fresh concerns over “abandoned” allotments have been expressed, amid a claim that around two-thirds of plots in the town are not being looked after.

    The issue, which first came to light in August, has prompted Councillor Clair Ramage to call for stricter rules on renting the land. She also visited the Wilton Park Road allotments last week and said she was shocked by the “neglect”.
