    It had taken a while, indeed quite a while, in fact a long while.

    In the bright sunshine of Albert Park last Saturday, however, it happened.

    Hawick Royal Albert achieved something they failed to do last season in recording a win on their home turf.

    And Royalists shook this monkey off their back the hard way in playing a full 69 minutes of the game with only nine men.
