    Future Hawick’s decision to save the town’s Welcome Hosts has reaped just reward with an increased number of visitors this summer.

    Having already proved a positive impact on tourists, the long-standing service was in danger of folding after Hawick Welcome Initiative, which ran it for over two decades, ceased trading.
