    After a disappointing day at Jed the previous week the Hawick Under-18s were determined to get back on track against Selkirk, and it took all of 24 seconds to get off the mark. 

    From the kick-off Jamie Grant took well before shipping the ball right to Bailey Donaldson who superbly set Billy McNeil on his way under the posts. Donaldson converted for 7-0.
