    For the first time since 2010, the Linden won their first league match of the season as they saw off the challenge of Leith at the Volunteer Park. 

    The visitors were a much improved side from last season and proved a tough nut to crack. Whilst never behind, only a late score from captain James Rowley gave the Linden the comfort of being more than one score ahead.
