    Richards takes the chair in area partnership role

    Councillors Neil Richards and George Turnbull

    Following a secret ballot, Councillor Neil Richards has replaced Stuart Marshall as chairman of Teviot and Liddesdale Area Partnership.

    Also taking up a new post is Councillor George Turnbull who becomes chairman of the Police, Fire and Rescue, and Safer Communities Board, a position previously held by Watson McAteer.
