Fears have been raised that overgrown grass and weeds around the Sleepy Valley Burn could result in a tragedy.
Local councillor Stuart Marshall says he has been inundated with calls from angry residents who are not only concerned that the Burnfoot park has become an eyesore due to a lack of grass cutting – but that is also an accident waiting to happen.
