    Police have thrown a veil of secrecy over last week’s drugs raids, amid grave concerns that hard drugs such as cocaine have become “socially acceptable” in the town.

    We sent several questions to the local force following last Thursday’s intelligence-led drug searches in Burnfoot and the west end, which resulted in the seizure of a three-figure sum of cash and personal quantities of cannabis.
