    A former Royal Navy serviceman who made five threatening telephone calls to police within the space of 24 hours has been ordered to carry out unpaid work at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.

    Fraser Miller – who served in the navy for ten years – pleaded guilty to sending the menacing messages from his home in Weensland Road, on June 8 and 9.
