    Johnstons of Elgin is the first cashmere company in Scotland to earn a prestigious award for its continuous commitment to the training and employment of young people.

    The Mansfield Road-based company – which has around 280 employees – has been awarded the GOLD Investors in Young People Good Practice award (IIYP).

    IIYP is the only people-management standard that focuses solely on an employer’s recruitment and retention of young people.
