    Family ‘broken’ by bike smash tragedy

    The brother of a man who died as a result of a fatal collision last Saturday has paid an emotional tribute to him this week.

    Kyle Christensen, 30, a father of two, lost his life after the motorcycle he was riding hit a parked car in Eildon Road late last Saturday afternoon.

    Speaking to The Hawick Paper this week, his elder brother Karl, 32, said: “Our family is absolutely broken by the loss of Kyle. We are all struggling to get our head round things and it has all happened so suddenly. I had been speaking to him on the phone only 20 minutes before the accident happened.
