A recent visit to Morrisons superstore brought back more than a few happy Christmas memories for Scott Robertson.
A festive promotion is reminding customers of a bygone tradition of putting oranges in a stocking at Christmas time.
Scott, 43, was able to pass the story of the tradition on to his son Aiden, 7, a pupil at Wilton primary, who was presented with a bag of fruit for Christmas.
Scott, who works for Scottish Borders Council added: “It seems the tradition has disappeared, it would be nice for it to return.”
