Hawick RFC development officer David Oliver is delighted with the growing number of girls who are participating in the sport, after watching 18 of them, pictured above, take part for their primary school in the 50th Keown Trophy finals day at Mansfield Park.
“It’s great to see so many girls playing rugby and enjoying it,” said David.
“It is growing every year and the skill level and enthusiasm from the girls is fantastic.”
