    Lisa and Lana make their mark

    Hawick’s Lisa Thomson, pictured, and Lana Skeldon both started for a Scotland Women XV in a comfortable 24-5 win over a Spain Women XV in Madrid.

    Thomson, playing at outside centre, scored a try just before half time, while Skeldon, playing in the front row, played her part in a big shift from the pack.

    The non-cap match forms part of Scotland’s preparations for next month’s Six Nations.
