    Support for railway extension still on the rise

    The railway won’t solve all the problems economically in the Scottish Borders.

    But, it is the best tool we have in the box for economic regeneration and social exclusion.

    Railways make a difference in a way that nothing else does.”

    The words of Simon Walton, who was elected chair of the Campaign for Borders Rail for the second time, at the annual general meeting held in Hawick last Saturday.
